Inspiring Generations Enterprise, Inc. was founded by Dr. T. Renée Garner and grew from her real-life storytelling, stage productions, books, and lived commitment to helping people overcome what once tried to silence them. What began as a creative vision has become a Maryland nonprofit using arts, poetry, journaling, education, productions, and community care to raise awareness, inspire overlooked voices, and support individuals and families toward restoration, purpose, and transformation.

We use storytelling, guided journaling, and safe conversations to help families recognize red flags, process trauma, rebuild confidence, and begin with healing-centered support for families and survivors.

IGE helps children and youth build focus, confidence, character, leadership, and purpose through our safe spaces, arts, sports, mentoring, journaling, and academic encouragement from elementary school through college.

“IGE creates space for real conversations about domestic violence, healing, safety, and restoration. The work is needed, powerful, and life-changing. We know abuse is never funny. The Man Monster Musical stage play is so unique because this play used laughter, truth, and storytelling to open the door for conversations many families avoid. We know domestic violence is never funny and a truthful talk is necessary”

“Through IGE, Hannah went from having no prior acting experience to receiving her first audition opportunity and being cast in original stage play,The Man Monster by Dr. T. Renée Garner. Today, she is a Spelman College student - a rising actress and an aspiring director, writer, entrepreneur."

“IGE reminds communities that second chances matter. Working through the second look act to support is a key piece. Restoration is possible when people have support, accountability, resources, and hope. As Robert prepares for an upcoming hearing, his journey reflects the importance of family, community support, and the opportunity for a new chapter."

Domestic violence is not always physical. It can show up through control, fear, isolation, emotional abuse, financial abuse, and manipulation. IGE uses storytelling, guided journaling, and safe conversations to help families recognize red flags and begin the healing process.

IGE’s Time Served Program brings awareness to families impacted by long-term incarceration, reentry, and restoration. Through education, storytelling, and community support, we help create space for returning citizens and their families to prepare for a new beginning

Women, Children and Teens need safe spaces to be heard, encouraged, and developed. IGE supports youth through arts, sports, mentoring, journaling, education, leadership, and confidence-building programs that help them grow with purpose. Sports and Arts as Education Expression to Leadership.
