Inspiring Generations Awareness, Readiness Transformation (A.R.T)
Inspiring Generations Enterprise, Inc. was founded by Dr. T. Renée Garner and grew from her real-life storytelling, stage productions, books, and lived commitment to helping people overcome what once tried to silence them. What began as a creative vision has become a Maryland nonprofit using arts, poetry, journaling, education, productions, and community care to raise awareness, inspire overlooked voices, and support individuals and families toward restoration, purpose, and transformation.

Domestic Violence Prevention & Healing
In one 24-hour count, Maryland domestic violence programs served 1,229 victims , received 212 hotline contacts , and could not meet 255 requests for help because of limited resources.
IGE uses unique storytelling, poetry to help families recognize warning signs, build awareness, prevent harm and as is a safe way to start the conversation.

Children & Youth Empowerment
A Maryland State Library Agency summary cites NAMI data showing that 57,000 Maryland youth ages 12–17 experience depression, and nearly 45% did not receive treatment in the previous year.
IGE’s Youth Program helps children grow from elementary school through college using safe spaces, arts, sports, mentoring, journaling, and academic support to build focus, confidence, character, leadership, and purpose.

Recognizing Red Flags Before They Become Cycles
Domestic violence is not always physical. It can show up through control, fear, isolation, emotional abuse, financial abuse, and manipulation. IGE uses storytelling, guided journaling, and safe conversations to help families recognize red flags and begin the healing process.
Time Served: Why Second Chances Matter
IGE’s Time Served Program brings awareness to families impacted by long-term incarceration, reentry, and restoration. Through education, storytelling, and community support, we help create space for returning citizens and their families to prepare for a new beginning
